Spectators are sure to enjoy the thrill and excitement of the Robot Game where teams compete to score the highest points using LEGO built robots to solve intricate missions. It’s sure to be a fun filled day!
DATE: November 17, 2018
TIME: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
LOCATION: Chukker Creek Elementary
VOLUNTEERING: All South Carolina FIRST LEGO League events are completely ran by volunteers. Everyone from the check-in staff, the Robot Game queuers, the referees, the judges, on up to the tournament directors volunteer their time. Anybody can make a great volunteer. Volunteers do not need to be an expert in everything FIRST LEGO League. If you’re interested in lending a helping hand, head over to the Volunteering page.
Additionally we would like to thank Savannah River Nuclear Solutions for supporting the Aiken Qualifying Tournament.
The Aiken Qualifying Tournament will host 17 teams. Teams must be ranked in the top 7 Robot Game scores to be considered for Champion’s Award. The top 5 teams will advance based on their average ranking by the Judges in Core Values, Project and Robot Design, and must finish ranked in the top 13 (actual number, not percentage) Robot Game scores at the event.
